Position Overview:

The Senior Auditor will be responsible for leading audit engagements, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations. This position is ideal for a proactive and knowledgeable auditor ready to take on significant responsibilities and mentor junior staff while contributing to the firm’s overall success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to applicable auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise and review the work of junior auditors, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Prepare and review comprehensive audit reports, highlighting findings, recommendations, and insights for clients.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation and respond to inquiries during the audit process.
  • Conduct detailed analyses of financial statements and internal controls to identify risks and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on audit and compliance matters.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations, tax laws, and industry trends to provide informed advice to clients and the audit team.
  • Participate in training and development activities to enhance professional skills and stay current with auditing practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field; CPA Preferred but not required (Actively pursuing CPA)
  • 3-5 years of experience in public accounting, with a strong focus on audit services.
  • Proven experience managing audit engagements and supervising junior staff.
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of clearly conveying complex information to clients and team members.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
