Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate to join my client’s dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be eager to develop their skills in public accounting and contribute to various client engagements. You will work closely with senior staff, assisting in the delivery of high-quality services that meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and review of individual and business tax returns to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Support audit teams in conducting fieldwork, including client visits, data analysis, and documentation of audit findings.
• Participate in client meetings, helping to gather information and provide insights under the supervision of senior staff members.
• Conduct research on tax regulations and accounting standards, preparing memos to document findings and conclusions.
• Maintain organized and accurate documentation of client files to ensure compliance and facilitate audits.
• Collaborate with team members on various projects, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of client services.
• Stay informed about changes in tax laws and industry trends to enhance personal and professional growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field; CPA eligibility preferred.
• Previous internship or relevant experience in public accounting is a plus but not required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of accounting software is an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Eager to learn and grow within the firm, displaying a proactive attitude.
