As the firm continues to expand, they are seeking an experienced and proactive Audit Supervisor to join their dynamic team.

Position Overview:

The Audit Supervisor will oversee and manage audit engagements for a diverse client portfolio, ensuring compliance with applicable auditing standards and regulations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong leadership abilities, who is ready to take on increased responsibilities and mentor junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and execution of audit engagements, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and the firm’s internal policies.
  • Supervise and review the work of audit staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality deliverables and professional development.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive audit reports that clearly outline findings, recommendations, and any necessary improvements for clients.
  • Conduct risk assessments and evaluate internal controls, identifying areas for enhancement and ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the audit process and addressing inquiries effectively.
  • Stay updated on developments in accounting regulations, auditing standards, and industry trends to improve audit quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members across departments to provide integrated services to clients and address their multifaceted needs.
  • Participate in business development activities, including client presentations and proposals, to attract new clients and strengthen existing relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field; CPA Preferred but not required. (Actively pursuing CPA)
  • 4+ years of experience in public accounting, with a strong emphasis on audit services.
  • Proven supervisory experience in managing audit teams and client engagements.
  • Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of articulating complex information clearly.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with auditing software is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous professional development.
