Position Overview:

As a Semi-Senior Auditor at my client’s firm, you will play a vital role in assisting with audit engagements for a variety of clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to expand their experience in auditing while working under the guidance of senior management and contributing to the firm’s overall success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and executing audit engagements, ensuring compliance with relevant auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct audit fieldwork, including gathering and analyzing financial data and performing substantive testing.
  • Prepare detailed work papers that document audit findings and support conclusions reached during the audit process.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete audits efficiently and within established timelines.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary financial information and provide explanations regarding audit procedures.
  • Stay current on industry regulations and accounting standards to enhance audit effectiveness and compliance.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to improve auditing skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field; CPA eligibility is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on audit preferred but not required.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, capable of clearly conveying audit findings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; experience with audit software is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow in the auditing profession.
